Who this covers
The website at ewwoodworking.co.uk is run by Eddy White, trading as Eddy White Woodworking, Nottinghamshire, United Kingdom. Eddy is the data controller for anything collected through it. Purchases made through Etsy are covered by Etsy’s privacy policy, not this one.
What is collected
The contact forms collect your name, email address, subject or piece type, and message. You can also optionally tell Eddy how you found the workshop.
- No advertising cookies are set by this site. Vercel Web Analytics does not use cookies for its measurements.
- Website analytics measure page visits, product and Etsy links, commission links and successful enquiries. Our custom events contain page or product paths and fixed piece categories, not names, email addresses, enquiry text or engraving requests. The hosting provider also processes requests for security and performance.
- Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts and a small library from a content delivery network; those requests reveal your IP address to those providers in the same way any web request does.
Why, and for how long
Your message is used for one thing: to reply to you, and — if you ask for a commission — to discuss and make the piece. The legal basis is that you have asked for a reply (legitimate interest, and where relevant, steps taken at your request before a contract).
Messages are delivered straight to Eddy’s email inbox. They are kept for as long as is useful for the conversation and any resulting order, and are not added to any mailing list. You will never receive marketing email as a result of contacting the workshop.
Services used
- Vercel — hosts the website, provides Web Analytics and runs the small function that sends form messages. Vercel privacy policy.
- Resend — delivers the email from the form to Eddy, and a confirmation copy to you. Resend privacy policy.
- Google Fonts — serves the typefaces. Google privacy policy.
Your details are never sold, shared with advertisers, or passed to anyone else.
