A paddle board in English oak with two stripes of sapele running its full length, a shaped handle, and a leather loop so it can hang from a hook between uses. It’s a medium‑sized board — the right size for a cheese course or charcuterie for three or four — and hard‑wearing enough to be the everyday chopping board as well.
It’s built edge‑grain, which keeps it light, stable and flat, and finished with Odie’s Oil, a natural, food‑safe finish that soaks into the timber rather than sitting on top of it. Food can go straight onto the board.
Because each one is made to order, it’s cut from the oak on the bench at the time — the figure and the exact tone vary, so no two are quite alike. If you’d like it larger, smaller, engraved with a name or a date, or without the handle, ask about a commission.
